Come one, come all: Proof+Geist is SOC2 Type 2 certified!
Last year, when we announced that we were officially SOC2 certified (the first Claris FileMaker Hosting platform to do so), this marked our first step toward enhanced security and trust between us and our customers. With our SOC2 Type 2 certification, we’ve taken it even further.
What exactly does SOC2 Type 2 certification mean, why is it important, and how is it different from just a plain old SOC2 certification?
In short, the policies and practices we have implemented for our Type 1 certification have been observed, tested, and audited by a third-party organization. It’s not only that we have the policies in theory, but they’ve now been independently verified in practice.
For Proof+Geist, achieving SOC2 Type 2 certification isn’t only about obtaining a badge-it’s a reflection of our commitment to building the best modern cloud platform for custom business solutions.
